Tori Diederich Lundell writes stories where mythology collides with the supernatural, dreams can become dangerous, and the impossible is often closer than it appears.
BEYOND THE PAGE
The woman behind the worlds
Tori’s story began in Sierra Vista, Arizona, where she was born on an Army base while her father was stationed there. Today, she calls Utah home with her husband and three boys.
Before becoming an author, Tori spent ten years working in the medical field in ophthalmology. Helping others was part of her everyday life, but so was an imagination that refused to stay quiet.
When pencil meets paper, time tends to disappear. Writing gives Tori a place to bring the strange worlds, dangerous dreams, myths, monsters, and characters living in her imagination to the surface.

Writing may be her creative outlet, but kickboxing gives Tori an entirely different kind of release and probably explains why her characters shouldn’t underestimate anyone.

Cabins, family, & adventure
Some of the best breaks from writing involve getting away with family, heading to the cabin, and finding a little adventure outside the fictional worlds.
